I am the lady in polka dots dress sitting on Alto, Jimmie Lou McGough Gilmore . I have gone to FASOLA singings all my life was raised up in the singings & traveled different states with my parents & grandparents ( Joe & Martha Harper) who instilled this in me. My parents/ husband/ & children/ went with me to this 1st Nat’l Singing which we truly enjoyed. I raised my 3 children up in S.H.Singings also as both my sons learned to key music as my( Uncle Grady Harper) did so well. My Papa Harper (JOE) was on the Board of Directors & was awarded a citation in honor of his dedicated services to the cause of S.H.Music. I am so thankful for my ”HARPER” Singing family & INSTILLING this in me!!
